Once
you've established a profile for connecting to a network, you can select
how you want the Boingo Software to behave when that signal is
available. If this is a network that you connect to regularly, you
might want to set the AUTO CONNECT feature to CONNECT,
which will automatically connect you when this network is in range.
If this is a network you infrequently connect to, or frequently work
offline when in range, you might choose OFFER, which will
provide a prompt asking if you want to connect. The most aggressive
option is SWITCH, which will disconnect you from any other
signal you're connected to and forcibly connect you to this network.
The other profile option you can set is to
specify an application to launch when the connection is complete.
For example, you can specify that Boingo launch your email program when
you connect to your office network, or your corporate VPN when connecting
to home or public networks. Simply use the file browser to locate
the program's launch file. |
